Cassadaga Lakes is known for its incredible bird diversity and abundant fish populations.  The lakes are a haven for birdwatchers and nature photographers.  It is very common to spot Great Blue Herons, bald eagles, turtles sunning on logs and a wide variety of ducks during migrations.

The Cassadaga Lakes Nature Park protects over 1,100 feet of shoreline and 77 acres of wetlands and forest.   After paddling, you can drive to the entrance off of Route 60 and walk the trails.

The three interconnected glacial lakes are home to a wide variety of sport and panfish.  Why fight the crowds on the big lakes when you can hunt for monsters here?  Cassadaga Lakes is home to Muskie, Tiger Muskie, Northern Pike, Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Crappie, Bluegill, and Pumpkinseed Sunfish.

Cassadaga Beach and Park provides a family-friendly environment where you can easily combine a day of paddling with picnicking or swimming.  There is a dedicated area for launching kayaks directly from the shore.   It is located in Lower Cassadaga Lake and features a sandy beach, playground, ball courts, picnic tables, and public restrooms.  Swimming is permitted in the roped-off area only when lifeguards are on duty.

Kayak Your Way to the Concert

Kayakers can paddle right up to the stage and link boats together to enjoy the performance.  Rentals are extended until 8pm on concert nights.
