Dogs are welcome on our tandem or fishing kayaks only.  There is a $10 pet fee.  Dog nails cause extra wear and tear to the kayaks.  In addition, we need more time to sanitize the kayaks and remove any potential allergens, fur, and wet dog smell before the next customer uses it.  This small fee covers our time and materials to keep our rentals in the best possible condition for everyone.

Please note:  We do NOT provide canine life jackets.  If you are going to bring your dog, we highly recommend they wear a floatation device.  Canine life jackets provide essential buoyancy, visibility, and safety for your pet if they fall or jump into the lake.  Jackets with a sturdy rescue handle on the top allow you to lift your dog out of the water and assist them back into the kayak easier with less risk of capsizing.
